Ping Pong is one of the newer venues around Waterloo, located in one of the railway arches next to Royal Festival Hall where lately several venues have opened up, most of which we have yet to try out. While Ping Pong may not be the first place to pop into your head for lunch, since they serve dim sum they are well suited for larger parties, with a few big tables around which a group can sit down and share the tasty nibblies.

This is a very good looking and stylish venue, serving excellent cocktails, so also lends itself well for a slightly different after work evening out. They also have a large outdoor patio area right under the arch next to Festival Terrace with lots of smaller tables.

Their dim sum may not be as good as Royal China’s, but service is quick, prices are ok and it is easy to have a good time here. And hey, they have flowering tea!

Suggested by Kirsty, thank you very much!

Really nice place, and having been there with a proper dim sum aficionado I can testify that the dim sum is not bad.

Southbank branch is one of several. I tend to get over excited and order far
more than I can eat. But the Dim Sum are soo good. I am also very partial to
the flowering teas. A flower that gradually opens up in your glass of tea as
    you drink it!

A reliable favourite of mine that has never failed to deliver. Great venue for quick service if you are limited on time. Perfect for pre-theatre dining if you are going to a performance at the Royal Festival Hall.
